Here's what the humans have to say about me:
http://www.valleydogs.org/kingston.html -- Hello, I am Kingston. Everyone asks what breed of dog I am. Well, I am some sort of small hound mix, I seem to have the body of a Whippet and the head of a dachshund and the bark of a hound. All I know for certain is I am a happy, busy, busy boy.
My original owner got very sick and passed away, and Valley Dogs Rescue took me in. I am currently in a foster home with 13 other dogs and do great with everyone. I am a busy little guy and keep moving and checking things out. I am on the move a lot and want to make sure I always know what is going on. However, there are times I am also very affectionate and will seek out human atention and want to cuddle and be held. I love curling up on a nice soft chair or sofa and taking long naps too!
I am happy playing with the other dogs at my current home, and I love going for walks. I am much better on lead then I was when I first got to my foster home, but I get so excited about everything I want to see and smell outside that sometimes I forget myself and I have to be gently reminded to not be so exuberant. I get a little too excited with the feral cats in our neighborhood, so it is believed a cat-free and small animal free home would be best for me.
I am a great little guy, especially if you like the look of a hound, but prefer a smaller version. Would you like to meet me?
