Angel can be described in one simple word: Miraculous. When she came to RFTH, she weighed only 11 lbs and was on the brink of death (due to starvation). With the help of an incredible medical team and 5 weeks in the hospital, Angel made an astonishing recovery that was nothing short of a miracle.
Once her body was healed, it was time to work on repairing her broken spirit. She instantly loved all children, but it has taken a bit more time to teach her about adults. She now greats most every woman with tail wags and kisses, though she is still learning to trust men.
Angel adores other dogs and has found comfort in their confidence. She would do best in a home with dog to help guide the way for her. She is also great with cats!
While Angel is still a work in progress, being a part of her rehab is truly rewarding and she teaches us about how the soul can heal with time and love.
Angel is potty trained, excellent on leash and is becoming a fan of car rides.

Please do not call as our phone is intended for emergencies only. If we feel that one of our dogs is a good match we will set up a private meet and greet We do not have a physical location where you can come and meet all the dogs at once, so meet and greets may take a little time to coordinate. Our requested adoption donation is $300 and all adopters are required to fill out an adoption agreement.
