Bodie's Story...
Bodie is a male JRT that is approximately 2 years of age. He can be very fearful of noises and new environments and will need some training and socialization to show him that the world is not out to get him. He is not a lost cause and in the right home, this boy will prove to be a great companion! Anyone that has ever had the pleasure of sharing their lives with a JRT, knows that they are a special breed. Exercise and mental stimulation is a must. Bodie has lost his way and needs a JRT lover to show him the way back. At this point, we are recommended he not go to a house with small children or cats. He isn't great with other dogs, but an experienced JRT owner or dog owner could work with him on this. Please consider helping Bodie learn that life is great!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bodie, a Darlington Parson Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Parson Russell Terrier for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Parson Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Parson Russell Terrier breeders who help with Parson Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
