My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young puppy. Cinder is the kind of pup who snuggles in, loves you up and then puts her tiny head on your shoulder. She's so new and fresh with every possibility open to her. That's the case unless a baby like Cinder is in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great Kansas rescuer in saving Cinder and her sister Ella...she could see that their temperaments were so sweet and loving that she couldn't allow them to be euthanized.

Cinder was immediately brought to be vetted and then on to a great Kansas foster home to receive pure love and begin her education. It turns out that Cinder, (at only 12 - 14 weeks old and 13 lbs - expected to be approximately 35 - 40 lbs when full-grown) is an all-time lovebug! She's calm and so very engaging that it's become a fun and rewarding experience for her foster mom:
Cinder is cute as a button and sometimes so silly..and then so serious like an old soul. She is like a blank slate...open and curious about everything around her. If Cinder continues this regiment of socialization that promotes positive relationships with other dogs and bonding with humans...she will become a well-adjusted and pleasant adult companion.

Cinder is just about the cutest scruffy puppy ever! She has the most expressive eyes that look up at me with so much love and trust...but it didn't quite start that way. Cinder was initially shy and and a bit frightened. But with hugs, loving and fun playtime, she quickly became my very best friend. Cinder is sometimes calm and mellow... yet often her silly and entertaining demeanor is just who she is - she just appears to be more entertaining than your average puppy. If she is treated kindly with clear behavioral guidelines, Cinder will become a well-adjusted girl who respects her people as her leaders. This is the kind of family we're searching for for this sweet and cuddly puppy.

Farfel's feels it's always very important that a dog is provided with exercise and mental stimulation. Cinder would be overjoyed with walks along Colorado trails and enjoying the sunshine and time spent together. We'd like a family who spends lots of time at home and chooses to include a fuzzy companion in their activities. Cinder can be taught that the car is a fun place that leads to great adventures out in the community and can therefore happily accompany her family just about anywhere.

Cinder will be arriving in Denver unfixed due to her very young age. Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs in regard to her spay, microchip and any additional puppy shots she might require if our Denver vet is used.

It appears at this point that Cinder is either a non-shedding or very lightly shedding puppy. Lots of sudsy baths and thorough brushing combined with great nutrition will keep this puppy's coat healthy, silky-soft and much less likely to shed.

Cinder will be arriving on transport in Denver on Tuesday 8/18/15. Applications are being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/.
