Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sam is an adorable, affectionate, puppyish and playful, eight to nine-month-old, 60-pound (and growing), male Labrador/Shepherd-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Sam is a big loving boy who thinks he’s a lap dog. He is full of kisses and tail wags. He’s a rough and rowdy player who loves other dogs – but best with dogs with similar energy to his. He sleeps through the night in bed with his foster family. He is also fine with cats!
Sam is a smart boy and a quick learner. He is crate-trained and perfecting his housebreaking. He knows the commands sit and paw. He is good with children and can live with other dogs, or as the only dog in the home. He loves running in the back yard, baby pools and rolling in the mud.
To meet and possibly adopt Sam, please fill in an on-line adoption application at http://fortunatelabrescue.org/adoptionapplication.html and follow up by contacting the rescue at info@fortunatelabrescue.org or 773-318-2239. You can also contact their rescuer Amy directly for more information at amysusanbrennan@aol.com or 773-727-9340. Sam’s adoption fee of $300 benefits Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue. Sam is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, and micro-chipped.
