This adorable little guy is Crackle, a 5 month old shih tzu/chihuahua mix that is ready to meet the family of his dreams. Little Crackle came to us from our Newark facility after he was found with his siblings and parents, abandoned behind a closed up gas station on a busy highway. Thankfully a passerby noticed the terrified little family and brought them to safety. They were all under medical care for a while due to upper respiratory infections that they contracted, but little Crackle has a clean bill of health now and is so eager to move on with his life and get a great home of his own. Crackle and his family were all a bit nervous when they arrived and although they have come such a long way, Crackle is still a bit unsure in new situations, so he we will need a home with no children under 10 years old. He gets along great with other dogs and absolutely loves people once he's had a chance to get to know you. He is super sweet and puppyish, and just wants to be held and made to feel secure. Crackle is playful and fun loving and while he will need basic puppy training, he is well behaved and very polite. Crackle would love an active home where he'll get exercise, direction, and lots of love. If you can give Crackle the lifetime of happiness that he deserves, come and meet our little friend.
