Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fabulous Frannie!!! She's a 4 year old lab/german shepherd mix who weighs about 55 lbs. Frannie is very submissive & sweet; she's a people-pleaser who wants to make everyone happy. A raised voice makes her cower; she's very sensitive! The biggest allure of this darling is the constant smile on her face; she's very photogenic as a result! It's hard to resist that grinning face, that's for sure! Our Frannie has a sad history; she lived on her own as a stray for months and struggled to live; she fought off dog/coyote attacks, was hit by a car and was certainly cruelly chased off by humans. Despite this, she loves people and gives the greatest kisses! Frannie is scared of other dogs due to her bad interactions with them when she was a stray; she will bark at them to keep them away from her as she fears they will hurt her. However, once Frannie figures out that they are safe, she gets along with other canines. She's not food aggressive despite the starvation she previously endured; and she easily shares treats & toys. Frannie is a joy to walk on a leash and enjoys brisk jaunts around the neighborhood. She also sits calmly in a car and anticipates fun outings when she knows she's going on a ride. Frannie does appear to be potty trained as she keeps her kennel nice & tidy.
She will jump a 4 foot fence so will need at least a 5 foot barrier to keep her safe.
If you'd like to make Frannie a member of you family, please let us know! Her adoption fee is $175; she's spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative.
