Lily Kai is a sweet, fun loving kitty, much loved by her Pet Pal friends. She greets her friends when they arrive and enjoys petting and playing with wand toys. Not bad for a girl who lost her home of four years! Cats hate change (humans hate it too, but we pretend better), so for Lily Kai to have won over everyone who meets her is a big kitty plus in our book.
So here's what happened: A DOG joined Lily Kai's family. Oh the horror! Now that was some change our girl LK couldn't quite wrap her head around, so she's asking, "No dogs, please!"
To ensure success in her new home, begin by settling Lily Kai into just one small room where she has all of her kitty accouterments, including a hiding box or a bed with high sides where she can feel safe. Visit her often and spend some nice quiet time together. Don't rush to introduce Lily Kai to the rest of the house until she's comfortable with you and shows an interest in exploring. Then allow supervised visits to the rest of the house and show her the place where you've set up another litter box - the spot where it will be permanently located.
All Lily Kai is asking for is a fresh new start with an understanding guardian. This sweet, playful girl deserves the best in a new home where her needs are met and her people are committed to keeping her forever. She won't let you down!
