Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rusty came to us after being found on the side of the road with some pretty significant injuries sustained from what we believe was being hit by a car. We do not know how long he laid there but he was very skinny and had a broken pelvis and a fracture of the femoral head on his right hind leg. Because he was only a puppy and they heal faster than adult dogs we put him on strict cage rest and pain meds to help with the pain and after 6 weeks he has healed beautifully and plays and romps around like a typical happy and healthy 6 month old boxer puppy. He is a very sweet boy and is a petite boxer only weighing 30 pounds at 6 months old. He loves to cuddle in your lap but would be a really amazing hiking partner or a wonderful dog for a family with kids. He loves everything and everybody. He does great with other dogs. Rusty is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and current on heartworm prevention and when adopted he comes with 2 months of heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $250.00. If you are interested in adopting Rusty please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications. Home checks and reference checks are also required
