Here's what the humans have to say about me:
How does a dog like Rocket wind up lost and forgotten? We'll never understand it. Here is a young, healthy, friendly, well behaved dog that just turned up in a park one day, looking for something to eat. Someone loved Rocket at some point because he is super sweet and loving, and he has excellent manners too, but here he is, hoping for a chance to start over with a family that will never let him go. Rocket is only about 2 1/2 years old and this brindle pit/boxer mix is an absolute doll. Please don't judge Rocket by how he is when you walk by him in his kennel.....he is just anxious, and may be a bit barky. Ask to meet Rocket outside and you'll see how well behaved he is and what a bubbly personality this young pup has. Rocket is curious and playful when he's outside and just wants to check out the world around him. He's happy to see other dogs and people pass by and just wants to go and have fun. Inside, Rocket is a real mush. Give him a blanket and he will flop on his back, paws in the air, awaiting a belly rub. He is calm and mellow, and will rest his head on your knee for some attention. This all around great guy even gets along fine with most dogs, but would do best with dogs closer to his size. He just adores people of all ages. Rocket is eager to meet you, and hopes that you will offer him the great home that he deserves. File#25789 11/23/15
