Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hedy is a big and beautiful, sweet and handle-able, three-year-old, eight-pound, white female albino New Zealand rabbit looking for a loving guardian.
Hedy had a litter of six baby bunnies … they have all found a home, now it’s her turn. Hedy is clever and fun to watch - she likes her home to be organized. So, if her litter box and food bowl isn’t exactly where she’d like it … she’ll re-arrange! She’s really into rabbit feng shui.
Hedy gets along with other social and gentle – natured rabbits. She eats a diet of unlimited Timothy hay, a big salad of fresh greens and veggies, and limited pellets. Her favorite treat is kale, but she can sniff out a carrot in your pocket from across the room!

Hedy is very healthy, litter box-trained and already spayed. Her adoption fee of $50 benefits the rescued pets of Oak Park Animal Care League. To meet and possibly adopt her, please contact Emma at felinemanager@animalcareleague.org or 708-848-8155, ext. 125.
To see Hedy or any of the other rabbits, dogs and cats at the Animal Care League shelter, please visit at 1011 Garfield, Oak Park, Illinois, Monday, Thursday and Friday from noon to 7:00 p.m. or Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
