Ginny's Story...
Don't I have the cutest ears? They are the talk of the town! Hello, my name is Ginny and I am a 6 month old Terrier mix. I came all the way from VA with my brother Marty and some other dogs in search of a home in New England! I weigh in at a whopping 15lbs, so I will be a small-medium sized dog when grown. Toys and treats are my two favorite things in the world, well besides people! I LOVE people! I would enjoy a home with another dog, but could be your one and only, as I love being spoiled! I would be fine with dog savvy cats, too. Do you have children? I LOVE children! They have lots of spunk and energy just like me! I am still working on my housebreaking, so my new family would have to be patient with me. I know how to SIT and have recently been working on SHAKE with a volunteer! I am getting pretty good at these commands! I am a very smart girl who is EXTREMELY food motivated, so training is going to be a breeze! I hope that my new home comes along soon and is everything that I hope it to be! I'm not picky, as long as I get lots of love, food and toys! If I sound like the right fit for your family, please come visit with me, you won't be sorry!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a Springfield Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
