Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young puppy. Vienna is the kind of baby who snuggles in, loves you up and then puts her tiny head on your shoulder. She's so new and fresh with every possibility open to her. That's the case unless they're in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great Texas rescuer in saving Vienna and her 5 siblings...she could see that all their temperaments were so sweet and loving that she couldn't allow any of them to be euthanized.
Vienna was immediately brought to be vetted and then to a great Houston foster home to receive pure love and begin her education. It turns out that Vienna, (just 3 weeks old in this photo weighing 2 lbs. She is now 7 weeks old and approximately 5 lbs) is expected to be approximately 25 - 30 lbs when full-grown.
Vienna is very sweet and so much like an old soul. She sits back and observes the antics of her siblings..participates happily in play..and then observes again. Vienna is so smart that you can watch her absorbing and processing all that's swirling around her. She's such a lovebug that it's become a fun and rewarding experience for her foster mom. Vienna is cute as a button and so silly. She's like a blank slate...open to all possibilities around her.
Vienna is a gorgeous Border Terrier/Cairn Terrier mix puppy (according to the shelter and Houston vets) with the cutest face ever. She's just beginning to get a cotton-soft coat that speaks of good health.
If she is treated kindly with clear behavioral guidelines, Vienna will become a well-adjusted adult dog who respects her people as her leaders. This is the kind of family we're searching for for this very smart and cuddly girl. We also feel it's very important that she is provided with exercise and mental stimulation. Puppy socialization classes followed by positive reinforcement obedience group classes will make this puppy a well-behaved adult dog. We'd like her future to hold walks along Colorado paths and sunshine on her scruffy Terrier face. We're searching for a family who spends lots of time at home and chooses to include a fuzzy companion in their activities. Vienna can be taught that the car is a fun place that leads to great adventures out in the community and can therefore accompany her family just about anywhere.
Vienna will be arriving in Denver unfixed due to her very young age...Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs in regard to her spay, microchip and any additional puppy shots she might require if our Denver vet is used.
Vienna will be growing in her fluffy post-shelter coat. Sudsy baths and frequent brushing combined with great nutrition will keep this puppy's coat healthy and silky-soft.
