Deputy Dawg's Story...
Meet Deputy Dawg. He's an entertaining fella - a bit of a ham - who is full of bounce. His smile relays his happy disposition. He's dog and cat friendly. He's funny on the leash as he walks about 20 steps then likes to stop and smell the roses, sit, roll in the grass and just smile at those that pass him by. We estimate his year of birth to be around 2008 and his weight 45 lbs. Deputy is looking for a forever home, a family to call his own. If you are that special someone, or if you would like to learn more, please contact RickyC68@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Deputy Dawg, a Simsbury Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Simsbury, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Simsbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simsbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simsbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simsbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
