My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Linnie is as loyal as they come. She's sweet, affectionate, loving and gives kisses abundantly. She likes attention and will return the affection she's given. She looks endearingly up into your eyes as she steals your heart with her beautiful brown eyes and gorgeous, shiny black coat. Linnie would absolutely thrive from taking long daily walks or hikes - she's athletic, strong, curious and alert. Her prey drive is high so a home without other animals and with a fenced in yard would be most suitable for her. Linnie is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, micro-chipped and weighs around 70 lbs. Her estimated year of birth is early 2021. If interested, please email adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org for an application.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We are dedicated to ensuring that our dogs go to a "forever" loving, nurturing home. As a result, our process is stringent, requiring an application, home visit, vet and reference checks and an adoption contract. We want the adoption to be a match made in heaven for both the new adoptive parents and the adopted dog.

Go meet their pets

We provide adoption opportunities for those living in the Northeast who are willing to do long distance adoptions. Many of our dogs live in Wharton, Texas but we have very safe, reliable transport to the Northeast.

More about this rescue

Smiling Dog Farms is a 501(c) non-profit animal rescue. We strive to restore hope to the forgotten, neglected and rejected unwanted dogs and puppies rescued from the streets and local kill-shelters. Each dog that enters our rescue receives their full round of vaccinations, gets spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and placed on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Many of our dogs live in Wharton Texas, but we have very safe, reliable transport to the Northeast.
