Montana's Story...
Montana found himself abandoned at a shelter in SC and the shelter staff knew he was a totally amazing dog and he was put into foster care through the shelter so he would not be euthanized. We were contacted about Montana and brought him into our rescue. Montana is estimated to be about 4 years old and he is deaf and partially blind but do not let that stop you from adopting this special dog - he does not know anything is wrong with him. He can see some and responds very well to hand signals and is a very very smart boy. He is fostered in a home with kids, other dogs and cats and does very well. This boy forms a bond with people very quickly and is going to be a great addition to some very lucky family. Please let us know if you would like to know more about Montana or you can go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out the adoption application. His adoption fee is $250.00 and that includes all his vaccines up to date, neuter, microchip, deworming and when adopted he comes with 2 months of heartworm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Montana, a Arden Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Arden, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Arden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arden paves the way for another one to be saved.
