Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BOOM! I'm Boomer, and, well, look out here I come!, I can be a little funny. I really don't like for anyone to "sneak up" on me. I'm learning how to trust people. I can be a little unpredictable for that reason. So if you don't know much about Chihuahuas, I might not be a good choice for you. But once I'm comfortable, I am very happy. I am definitely not a "kid-friendly" guy. Little people freak me out. Dogs my size are A-OK! I have perfect recall, I will pay attention and play fetch, I do fine on a leash. I am good in your lap as can be, as long as I am comfortable and not startled.
Chihuahua Rescue says: Boomer was dropped off with us as he was no longer "kid friendly" and. indeed. was a 6 year old unvaccinated, unneutered pet who needed attention to his teeth. At first we thought his unpredictable behaviors were due to lack of training. Then we found out he was in horrible pain all the time from dislocated kneecaps. He had corrective surgery on both legs and now he is the sweetest guy that just loves to run and play! He is a little guy at about 9 lbs and is vaccinated, neutered and has clean teeth. He really is a wonderful guy. Boomer's adoption fee is $250. His Seniors for Seniors price is $200.
