Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coco is part of a Bay Area cruelty/neglect case where a total of 19 dogs were confiscated. His prior living conditions were horrible and we suspect he was physically abused. However, he isn't dwelling on it and is ready to begin again.
He can be scared when meeting new people and needs time and space to adjust to new situations. Once he is settled in, he's a happy and sweet little guy who wants nothing more than to keep your lap warm. He gets along with other dogs and will do best in a gentle and calm adult home.
He is a 12 year old Chihuahua mix and about 13 lbs.
Coco is energetic when it comes to walk time and then settles in when he is back in his home. He loves to eat and is thankful to finally have regular meals all to himself.
Coco has bravely worked through several medical issues and is ready now for his forever home. He continues to adapt to the good life and is making wonderful progress every day. We love our little man Coco.
