Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diesel
2.5 years old
Good with other dogs
Loves to play fetch
Healthy, no health issues
Talkative
Smart
Attentive
Loving and sensitive, very sweet, loyal dog.
Diesel was an owner surrender. They sold their home and said they were downsizing and not able to keep him. We feel it's a shame that they purchased this dog as a young puppy from a breeder, never fixed him, stole his youth and then decided to not honor their commitment to the animal. It's a shame but this happens all the time. Between 9 months and 2.5 years is the most common age for owner surrenders from what we have experienced. The cute puppy stage is over and the dog needs structure, exercise and attention.
Diesel was a backyard dog. He grew up with 2 other dogs, a small terrier and a older female shepherd. He's intelligent, well mannered, learning to walk better on leash, polite with other dogs, all around wonderful dog that deserves an amazing forever home.
He's approx. 110 pounds.
He is scheduled to be neutered on 4/6/16
The adoption fee for Diesel is 400. This will cover the neuter, vaccinations, microchip and fecal test.
He is not horrible in the house, he's not a serial leg lifter so I think he will be easy to house train if you have him on a schedule or if he has access to a doggy door.
He enjoys other dogs but I don't think he needs to have another dog in the home as long as you have the time to play with him and keep him busy. He's past that hyper puppy stage. He has not chewed any of his toys or beds. Such a gem of a dog!
