Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young puppy. They're so new and fresh with every possibility open to them. That's the case unless they're in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great Texas rescuer in saving Finn..she could see that his temperament is so sweet and engaging that she couldn't allow him to be euthanized before his life ever really began.
Finn is such a sweet and endearing spirit who cuddles against you for love and security - such a special boy. Finn was immediately brought to be vetted. He was found to have allergies caused by fleas, shelter dirt and stress (but otherwise completely healthy). Finn was brought to a great Houston foster home (with a flea-free environment) to receive pure love and begin his education.
Finn is just 6 weeks old and weighs 4.5 lbs (expected to be approximately 25 lbs when full-grown). He is cuddly and so very sweet that it's become a fun and rewarding experience for his foster mom. Finn is cute as a button and so silly. His foster has said they haven't turned on the TV since Finn came to their house...he's so entertaining. He is like a blank slate...open and curious about everything around him. If he continues this regimen of socialization that promote positive relationships with other dogs and bonding with humans...Finn will become a well-adjusted and pleasant adult companion.
Finn is a gorgeous Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog mix puppy with the cutest antics ever. Finn's calm yet silly demeanor is just who he is...he just appears to be more entertaining than your average puppy. If he is treated kindly with clear behavioral guidelines, Finn will become a well-adjusted guy who respects his people as his leaders. This is the kind of family we're searching for for this sweet and cuddly puppy.
We also feel it's very important that Finn is provided with exercise and mental stimulation. He would be overjoyed one day with walking along Colorado paths and enjoying the sunshine. We'd like a family who spends lots of time at home and chooses to include a fuzzy companion in their activities. Finn can be taught that the car is a fun place that leads to great adventures out in the community and can therefore accompany his family just about anywhere.
Finn may be arriving in Denver unfixed due to his very young age...Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs in regard to his neuter, microchip and any additional puppy shots he might require.
Finn will be arriving on transport in Boulder on 4/22/16. Applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and devoted best friend and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
