Cheyenne's Story...
Cheyenne is sweet little 10 month old black kitten with a pretty white locket. She is small for her age and will likely remain a petite girl. She is very playful and gets along great with the little Yorkie dog at her foster home. She loves to chase and be chased through the house by the dog. Cheyenne may even think she is a dog! She comes when she is called and will follow her foster mom around the house. She loves, loves, loves to be petted and will rub against you and head bump you until you giver some attention. She is good with the litter box and consistently uses her scratching posts.

Cheyenne can be quite shy when you first meet her, but once she gets comfortable, she warms up and is very affectionate. As such, she would likely do best in a quiet household with another small pet but without young children. She has done very well at gatherings at her foster home with anywhere from 10 to 40 adults.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens or cats are adopted together, $130 for a pair. Brief screening questionaire and contract apply! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheyenne, a Lombard Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
