Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Merlin and his dog siblings, Magic and Ozzie, lost their owner when she died unexpectedly. She was a great mom and took excellent care of them, but now they need a new mom, dad, or family to make sure they stay out of trouble. They do NOT have to go to their new home together, but, if they could, you'd have an instant fur baby family!
Merlin is a large (about 15 pound) black cat and my guess is that he is about 10 years old. He has lived with multiple cats and dogs without a problem. He is the kind of cat that likes four to five pettings and then that is enough. He will try to nip if you mess with him. He is very loving when he is in the mood and you will not be able to go to the bathroom without him coming in to get petted. He is known as the "bathroom" cat in our family. He is not a lap cat which is a good thing since he is big and heavy but he loves sleeping on the bed. I would not recommend he be adopted by a family with small children since he does nip and scratch if he gets annoyed. He gets along fine with the two strong personality type cats he lived with but I would not recommend he be in a home with a timid cat.
