NeNe's Story...
Introducing Nefertiti, Egytian queen! Her nick name is NeNe. She is a 2 year old, 9 pound, female, min pin mix. She loves the outdoors as much as the couch...a great lap dog. She pushes her feet way out in front when she walks, a show dog prance. She likes to sunbathe, smooth coat and almost hairless on the underside. When she looks at you with her big eyes and big ears you can't help but love her. Good with kids and pets.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Adoption process includes an adoption contract and home check. Adoption fee for dogs are $300 - 500 and for cats are $175. All of our animals are fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.

If you are interested in adopting or have further questions, please fill out the application at LAAR.ORG under the Adoption Process page.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NeNe, a Los Angeles Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
