Talia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Talia's Story...
Talia is a very sweet and extremely loving, 50-pound, three-year-old, female Shar Pei / Pug-mix looking for a loving guardian.

She loves people and enjoys giving kisses to her favorite people. She also gets along with select other dogs. She just loves to be loved.

Talia was found as a stray in Chicago. The only thing she is nervous about is being picked up. So, we don’t know what abuse she may have faced earlier in her life. It looks like she may even had a litter of puppies.

Talia’s adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Peiland Shar Pei Rescue. She is very healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly heartworm preventative. She is currently at the rescue headquarters in Plano, Illinois.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Talia, a Chicago Shar Pei/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei/Pug for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Shar Pei/Pug dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei/Pug breeders who help with Shar Pei/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
