Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Rascal sure has had a tough time of it in his life but just look at him......it sure doesn't get him down! Rascal is an upbeat and spunky little 6 year old shih tzu that came to us from our Newark facility in April when he was found abandoned in an apartment. Poor Rascal was quite neglected and had some conditions that were never cared for. His eyes are scarred from ulcerations that were never treated but they are doing just fine now. After several weeks of good medical care, Rascal is positively thriving now and is happy, healthy, and even all spiffy with his new haircut! Rascal is an absolute doll. He is always so happy to make new friends and he bonds with people quickly. He is calm and mellow and when he actually does get excited, he dances around from foot to foot, wiggling his little rearend. Rascal is very well behaved and sits nicely when asked. He walks perfectly on a leash and is gentle with taking treats. He acts as if he's very mature but Rascal has a playful side too and likes to have fun. He seems just fine with other mellow dogs and simply adores people. He will make a wonderful addition to any great family that welcomes him home with open arms. File#26145 4/14/16
