Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I remember the sights and sounds and smells of home because the memory of home is the thing that never leaves us.” - Wyatt Cooper
We would love nothing more...the sights, sounds, and smells of a forever home for a forever pup. Wyatt is a 6 month old black lab mix who currently weighs 35 lbs. He will likely be somewhere between 50 and 60 lbs when full grown. Wyatt is a sweet, calm, smart, lovable young boy (with the occasional energetic puppy moment). This adorable little guy is doing wonderful with his house training. He goes out to potty via doggy door. He does well in his crate but he must be let out to potty after around 4 hours to avoid accidents. Wyatt is eager to please and learn. He has mastered sit and is working on perfecting shake, stay, and leave it. He understands what is expected when taken out and told to go potty. The puppy in him does show up on walks. He tends to pull with a regular collar but does quite well with a harness. Foster mom says she stays vigilant as he will try to dart after birds and squirrels. Wyatt is very good with the other dogs of various ages and sizes he is in foster with. He does not seem to mind the company of cats and generally just ignores them. He loves kids and very much enjoys being around his big humans. This affectionate tyke is low key and not at all pushy. He wants to be near his people on the couch but will not force his way if there is not an open space. He will put his paws up to be pet or in hopes that he will get picked up and placed on a vacant lap. Wyatt is already neutered, micro chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. He is a sweet loving boy in search of a final destination to call home...the place where family and memories will live forever.
