Facts about Lyndall

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
This little lady had a rough start to life.
For 3 weeks, both she and her brother Logan were kept in a carrier in the hallway of a shelter. As a result, they were terrified of people.
Lyndall and her foster mum have put in a lot of effort to figure out that all humans are not bad and this tough girl has shown remarkable improvement every day in her foster home.

Lyndall is a cat’s cat. She has a tonne of energy and zooms around everywhere, playing with whatever she can get her paws on.
She loves stimulating toys and can spend hours chasing or exploring them.
It may take her a while to warm up to humans, but with patience and understanding, she will purr into your hand, let you rub her and gives you the slow blink of trust – making you feel like a champion.
She loves her carrier and considers it her ‘safe’ place, preferring to eat, rest and interact with you from there.

She likes cat company a lot and would do well in a home with sociable, high energy cat that will play with her.
With the right home, she will be a great cat!
*****Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.****

About Abbey Cat Adoptions

About Our Rescue Group...

Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter. We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.

Our Adoption Process...

We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match.
175 dollars for 6 months old & up (including spay/neuter)
90 dollars for kittens (not including spay/neuter)
