Jackson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jackson's Story...
Jackson is a very sweet 2 yr. old Irish Setter mix. He does need to gain a little weight, and he lost some hair due to fleas he had when we got him, but his hair is growing back and when he puts on a little weight he will be a beautiful boy. He is neutered, up to date on shots and micro-chipped. Jackson is young and has lots of energy so he needs a very active home. He would make a great running partner. He will make a great family dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Williamsburg Irish Setter/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Setter/Pointer for sale in Williamsburg, or seeking a Irish Setter/Pointer dog from a breeder in Williamsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williamsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williamsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Setter/Pointer breeders who help with Irish Setter/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williamsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
