Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET JENNY!
Are you in the market for a sweet, sensitive companion who would enjoy a quiet home? Perhaps Jenny is your girl! This beautiful orange and white tabby is around 8-10 years old and was surrendered to Philly's animal control shelter along with another cat because their owner was moving and couldn't bring them along. Her original owner stated that she was much older than our veterinarian estimated because she is in such great health.
While Jenny can be a bit shy when first meeting people and sometimes sticks to herself, she also really enjoys head and back scratches. Once comfortable with her surroundings, she also loves to chat up a storm! She is currently living with other cats, as she did in her previous home, and also lives with a couple low-energy dog and isn't phased by them. We think Jenny would be most happy in a low-energy home with older kids and a patient family who will give her the time she needs to settle into her surroundings since she's been experiencing quite a few changes in the past couple months.
Jenny was a bit overweight when she came to the shelter and has since been started on an appropriate and healthy diet so she can drop some unnecessary lbs. She received blood work and diagnostics which showed that she is a healthy girl! Since leaving the shelter, Jenny was treated for a pesky reoccurring eye infection due to a scratch on her cornea. Because it wasn't healing properly, she has since had to have the eye removed. The good news is that she is feeling so much better and it just adds to her charm!
Jenny is currently residing at COEL's adoption kennels at Pet Supplies Plus in Phoenixville! You can visit her any day at 700 Nutt Rd. Phoenixville, PA 19460!
Jenny is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She was also front-declawed prior to coming to the shelter and rescue and is FIV & FeLV negative. Interested in meeting her?
