Taji's Story...
Little Taji came to us from a remote area of the county where he was the single surviving kitten of a stray mother. The family that was caring for him wanted him to find a good home, and that was not likely being so remote, so we took him into the rescue. Unfortunately at the time he was covered in ringworm. After undergoing lengthy treatment he will be neutered next month and then be available for adoption. Taji is a Snowshoe Siamese mix. He is sweet and playful and very bonded to his foster sister Tess. At the time of adoption he will have been neutered, be up to date on his shots, have been microchipped and has already tested negative for FeLV and FIV. WE REQUIRE TAJI TO BE AN INDOOR ONLY CAT. An application, safety home check, landlord approval if renting, and an adoption fee of $80 is required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and proof of disability. Contact shannon@sierrapacificfurbabies.com or 707-441-9502 if interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taji, a Eureka Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Eureka, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Eureka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eureka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eureka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eureka paves the way for another one to be saved.
