This gorgeous young lady is Kona, a 7 month old husky puppy that is hoping for a fabulous home of her own to grow up in. Kona came to us from our Newark facility when she was found roaming the streets as a stray. How on earth this sweet girl became a stray is beyond us, but now she is looking to start over with a new family that will keep her safe and love her forever. Kona is an absolute joy to be around and you can't help but laugh when you're with her. She is so silly and playful, and doesn't know whether she should hug you, pick up a toy, or go for a run. She just loves people and has no shyness about her at all. She is thrilled to meet new friends and overjoyed when you give her some attention. Kona has had some training and will sit nicely when asked and is very gentle with taking toys and treats. She is very active and playful and would love a home with a secure, fenced yard as it's in her breed to want to wander. Kona is happy to meet dogs that she passes by and never really met anyone that she didn't like although she will need a home with no cats. She would transition so easily into a good home with a family that will welcome her with open arms. File#26415 6/29/16
