My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yo! What's up my friends? So, I hear that this whole Petfinder thing helps to find lots of those that are of the canine variety a place to call home forever. Well, that's my goal. You know, I'm sort of a very big deal, in fact, some might call me a warrior.

When I first arrived at my foster home I became very ill. There were quite a few moments when the doctor, my foster mom, and all those caring for me weren't too sure if I was going to make it. I'm a tough cookie, a warrior, and I beat Parvo refusing to back down and let it take me to the Rainbow Bridge. Now I'm feeling fantastic and myself again.

Don't let my strong spirit fool you; I may be spunky but I'm also very sweet. If you love kisses and someone who doesn't like to leave your side, well, I'm your jackpot. I can be cool in a crate or even cool on my own but man when you get home to give me some love and attention I will eat it all up. I'm all about my person and making sure my person is taken care of without a worry about how much they're loved. I have a lot of love, having a strong heart like me means having a big one.

My tail is a wagger, so I hope that you're down with that. Even when I was so sick that I could barely move, that thing would wag, wag, wag, every single time I saw my foster mom. I seriously just couldn't stop the thing. I'm generally a happy dog, which must be why my tail gets so much exercise.

I am more than happy to do my lady business outside, I mean no one wants that stuff just anywhere. If you put out a pee pad I'll use that too, that's what I had to do when I was sick. But, I haven't had a problem using that green grassy stuff outside either. See, I'm quite a catch, aren't I?

I've been here in this world for just over nine months now and cannot wait to find out what wonders the rest of my life will show me. Weighing just around eight pounds I'm the perfect size for hugging or snuggling, or you know, whatever. Kids are cool, just make sure they know how to respect a small dog and treat me right and no problems will be had. I don't mind other canines either, in fact, I spent the first nine months of my life with two of my sisters so I am very four paw friendly. Not too sure about cats because I haven't met one yet, but I have a feeling with time and stuff we could learn to get along.

Okay, so there you have it, this is who I am. If you like what you read, well, you know what to do, go fill out that application!
