Summer's Story...
MEET SUMMER - Summer is an adorable 12 pound terrier mix who is around 4 years old. She was found as a stray in LA so she is a bit shy meeting new people. With a little bit of patience and a few treats she will make herself right at home - on your lap, your favorite chair, and even your pillow if you let her!

She is very affectionate and has tons of energy. She loves to play outside and go for walks. She is potty trained and uses the doggie door at her foster home. She is still learning a few manners but responds very well when corrected.

You would never know what a rough start she had with her happy face and little body that shakes with excitement every time she wags her tail. She stole her foster family's hearts in less than 24 hours and would make an amazing addition to a family that shares her energy and enthusiasm. She has a lot of love to give and is waiting patiently to find her forever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Summer, a Phoenix Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
