Murphy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Murphy's Story...
Murphy is under a year old. He's neutered, healthy, good with other animals & children. He's playful & feisty - typical terrier. He needs a calm home and/or a family that is experienced with giving a dog love & structure. He will easily acts like a little tough guy if you let him take on that roll. He's learning to share his food, toys and treats. He walks great on leash and good in the car.

Murphy is under 12 pounds and will probably not grow anymore. We have no idea what his mix is. Our best guess is some sort of terrier mix. He's cute, hearty and loving.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Adoption process includes an adoption contract and home check. Adoption fee for dogs are $300 - 500 and for cats are $175. All of our animals are fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.

If you are interested in adopting or have further questions, please fill out the application at LAAR.ORG under the Adoption Process page.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a Los Angeles Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
