Gibson's Story...
Gibson wants to be where the action is. He is super curious and will go after any and all toys. He is very food motivated, which makes him easy to train. Eating and hanging out with his brother, Marshall, are his two favorite things -- they sleep together, groom each other, and play… a LOT. He is shy at first with new people but his curiosity and his love for food help him overcome this quicker then not. He will need a little time to adapt to a new environment but should come around quickly with a little patience. Marshall and Gibson would like to stay together, if possible.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens or cats are adopted together, $130 for a pair. Brief screening questionaire and contract apply! Please email gotfriendlies@feralfixers.org or call (630) 881-7459 for more information

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gibson, a Lombard Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
