Marshall's Story...
Marshall is a super playful little guy. He adores his toys and always wants to know whats going on around him. He also loves to hang out with his brother, Gibson -- they sleep together, groom each other, and play… a LOT. Marshall is a bit shy when you first meet him, but winning his heart is easy. He is super soft and looks very chill in his bed when he is not playing. He will need a little time to adapt to a new environment but should come around quickly with a little patience. Marshall and Gibson would like to stay together, if possible.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens or cats are adopted together, $130 for a pair. Brief screening questionaire and contract apply! Please email gotfriendlies@feralfixers.org or call (630) 881-7459 for more information

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marshall, a Lombard Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
