Trudy's Story...
TRUDY wants to be your new family member! Trudy is such a pretty little lover girl who is about 3 yrs old and weighs around 8 lbs. She is a happy girl who will show you by smiling at you with her teeth. This girl loves to have her back scratched and for you to talk to her. Such a smarty pants- she already knows how to stand on her back legs and wave her paws, but she would love to find a home where she can learn more tricks and maybe even go to classes. She is a little shy when she firsts meets new people, but that quickly subsides and she is all tail wags. She gets along with other friendly dogs and has good potty habits. She is a pretty quiet little girl and all around really a fun little companion. Trudy's adoption donation is $250, which helps cover the cost of her medical care.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the "Adoption Process" tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested ( as appropriate), fecal tested, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trudy, a Romeoville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Romeoville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Romeoville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Romeoville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Romeoville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Romeoville paves the way for another one to be saved.
