Calvin's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Calvin's Story...
Calvin is an approximately three year old male who was pulled from a shelter so little information is known. Calvin is a very sweet boy that just wants attention and to be loved. He is house trained and knows a few basic commands. We are working with other commands and training with him.

He is a normal husky when it comes to his prey drive. He is not cat friendly and may possibly be dog selective (he gets along with my dog OK but does not like my sister's female GSD). Overall though, he is a REALLY sweet boy who just needs love and someone that has time to work with him.

Please stop by our web site http://www.hhshr.com/ to learn more about our dogs and our rescue group.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calvin, a Shingleton Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Shingleton, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Shingleton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shingleton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shingleton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shingleton paves the way for another one to be saved.
