Peaches's Story...
Peaches is a loving 10 month lab mix that weights about 50 lbs. She gets along well with other dogs and is housebroken. She likes to be free and will run from you if she knows you are going to tie her up. Her favorite toys are stuffed animals and ropes that you can play tug a war with. She really loves children because she is still a puppy and has a lot of energy. Peaches loves to go for walks and behaves well on a leash. She gets along with our resident cats but she does want to play with them in a friendly manner. She likes car rides but sometimes tries to be a lap dog while you’re driving. She only barks when playing or if you kennel her, but only for a few barks and then she settles She loves to have her belly rubbed a lot and will snuggle with you all day. She is not aggressive towards food and loves her treats. A good home would be a family that is very active and with children that will play a lot with her. Peaches is currently being fostered near Fond du Lac, WI. Her adoption fee is $350 and covers her spay, all age appropriate shots, microchip and a current...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Tomah Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Tomah, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Tomah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tomah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tomah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tomah paves the way for another one to be saved.
