Benji's Story...
Benji is an all-white Bichon about 12 years old. He gets along well with other dogs but not sure about his foster mom’s my rabbit and chickens. He does well with his foster human family, but may bark at stranger a bit. Because of his older age and smaller size, Benji would probably do better in a home with older kids. A retired couple or stay at home foster parent would be ideal as he tends to get anxious when left alone. Benji is good with going to the bathroom outside and loves a treat when he comes back in. He will let you know when he needs to go potty by whining and sitting pretty. He loves to go on car rides and loves to sleep in bed with you. At his currenct foster home he isn’t crated at all and does great. Benji can win you over with his adorable head tilt when you talk to him. He soaks up every word!! Benji is currently being fostered in Tomah, WI. His adoption fee is $150 and covers his neuter, all age appropriate shots, microchip and current health certificate. Please apply at (DATCP 403260 DS

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benji, a Tomah Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Tomah, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Tomah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tomah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tomah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tomah paves the way for another one to be saved.
