My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arrival story: Rocco found himself homeless, so Waggin' Tails promised we'd find him a family who will keep him forever.

Approximate age / weight: 1 year / 75 lbs

Personality: Rocco is a good natured boy who is so happy to be off the streets and living the good life in his foster home. He is very affectionate and enjoys being with people. He lives with other dogs and gets along well with them. He also lives with cats and finds them very curious, but he doesn't chase. Rocco is a young boy with a lot of energy. He loves to go for walks, wade in the river, play with and chew on his toys, and he's always up for a car ride! He loves to play with his dog pals, too, when they are willing and up for his goofy antics. Rocco is already house and crate trained, walks well on a leash and knows some basic commands like sit, shake, down and come. He appears to be a very well-rounded boy who would make a great family companion.

Forever home: Rocco would do well in a variety of family situations. He has a lot of energy and playfulness so an active family is a must. He would do well as an only dog since he loves being with people, but would also do well with a canine playmate. Rocco does not currently live with children, but due to his size and energy level, older children would be best.
