The story of Beau is a sadly common one. We've been told that he was found wandering along the road in industrial Kansas..all alone with nowhere to go It's difficult to believe..at approximately 4 - 5 years old and just 8 lbs that.Beau could stay safe. We think that he's such an amazing spirit that he was meant to survive to bring his sweetness to a special family.
Our Kansas rescuers were enamored with Beau and his positive attitude and general cuddly cuteness. Farfel's Rescue was contacted in hopes of helping Beau find a forever family where he would be nurtured and loved. Sad and tearful goodbyes were said by shelter personnel and Beau was on his way for a full physical (absolutely healthy!) to await his transport to Colorado.
We're searching for a very loving and gentle family for Beau. It seems that an active retired couple or individual would be perfect for this devoted lap dog and loyal companion.. If given the time and opportunity, Beau will be the most bonded and loving family member anyone could imagine. He would be overjoyed with leisurely strolls with his favorite people as he greets the other walkers with a wag and a smile. Beau is very portable at a tiny 8 lbs..he's a great traveler by car or under the seat on a plane. Beau is very easy to take along just about anywhere...he's so pleasant and very happy and positive. Once Beau knows that he's at his forever home, all his dreams will have come true.
We know that anyone who is searching for a loyal lap dog who will return love their love a million times over will fall in love with our beautiful Beau. He is a non-shedding (or lightly shedding) guy and will therefore require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep his coat healthy, cottony-soft and matt-free.
We've requested that Beau be neutered prior to his transport to Colorado. Since we're not optimistic that this will occur, Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Beau's neuter and microchip if our Denver vet is used.
Beau will be arriving on transport in Denver in early October (date to be determined) . Applications are currently being accepted for this engaging guy who will bring so much love and companionship to his lucky forever family.
