Chubs (Neutered)'s Story...
"Chubs" is a handsome 4-month old male kitten who was surrendered by his owner on October 5, 2016 along with his best buddy ("Tigger") who happens to be his brother. "Chubs" has a black-and-white short smooth coat which is beautifully marked, a long black tail, and a darling chubby-looking kitten face with a tiny black beauty mark on his pink nose. He is a friendly little boy who seems to have taken on the responsibility of being the 'big brother' and provides comfort and security for his brother "Tigger" (who was nervous when they were briefly separated for their photo sessions). So naturally we'd love to see them find another home together. 'Chubs" was neutered on September 23, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. He was given vaccinations and wormer on October 5, 2016.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chubs (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
