Storm's Info...

I am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Storm's Story...

Storm is 16.5 weeks as of 12/18/2016, she was the most timid of the litter of Hurricane puppies.  She gravitates to other dogs over people and would do best in a home with a confident dog.  She does fine with the calm children in her foster home, she tends to gravitate more to little people than she does adults.  She has done well with cats.  She is working on housetraining, she is crate trained.  She goes to work at a Veterinary Clinic with her foster mom where she is working on her social skills.  Storm would do best in a home that has a secure physical fence as she is very skittish.  We hope in time she will continue to come out of her shell and in the right home will really blossom into the wonderful girl we know she can be.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application at or email Vet references and a home visit are required. Adoption fee of $300 includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, spay or neuter and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Storm, a Darlington Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
