Sweet Aspen came to the rescue after she was dumped at a kill shelter in SC by the family that adopted her from the same shelter several years before. They dumped her in horrible shape, skin infection with open sores, upper respiratory infection and she was high heartworm positive. This sweet girl has blossomed into the most amazing dog and has been treated for her heartworms and her skin condition is much improved, she just needed proper medical care and some TLC. Aspen is estimated to be about 3 years old and loves kids, other dogs and cats. She is a very happy girl that is eager to please. She would do well with a family that is active. She would make a great hiking or running partner. She is ready to find a family to call her own. Her adoption fee is $250.00 and this includes her spay, her vaccines up to date, deworming, current on heartworm prevention and one month of prevention sent with her at the time of adoption, and she is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Aspen please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications. Vet reference checks and a home visit are also part of our adoption process
We are located in Western North Carolina. We do adopt out of the area with transport, although, certain dogs have to be adopted locally, and that is always stated in the description. If you adopt a puppy out of our area or choose to use a different vet, we have an application amendment to be filled out as well for the spay/neuter & vaccine contract.

Come Meet Our Pets...
All of our rescues are fostered in separate homes, as we do not have a facility yet. We do have occasional adoption events, which can be found on our website calendar at www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org or on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/boxerbuttsandothermutts
Our Adoption Process...
Our fees are: $250.00 (for All Ages) *Unless otherwise noted
All of our rescues will be spay/neutered prior to adoption, unless they are under 6 months of age or recommended by our vet. All dogs will be micro chipped prior to adoption and come with a care package at the time of adoption
Our application process is as follows: First an application should be filled out at our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org on the Foster/Adoption Application page. A vet reference check is done to verify all the animals currently in the home are UTD on vaccines as well as Heart Worm Preventatives. A phone interview will be conducted, and the final step is a home check.
