Stormie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Stormie's Story...
Hi meet Stormie. He is a cuddly couch potato in the house, he loves to snuggle, and he wants to be with his people. He enjoys going for a walk and is great riding in a vehicle. His foster has cats and Stormie ignores them.

He is an adult dog and he is cat friendly. He has some arthritis in his left front legs, but he has medications and he's always ready to get out and go. Stormie is a bit selective with his doggie friends so he might be a better fit as an only dog or someone with dog experience willing to spend some time with him adjusting to a sibling. He appears to guard his food from other dogs but not humans. I can put my hand in his bowl no problem.

Because of his arthritis, he would probably fit better into a home with older children who would respect his space.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stormie, a Shingleton Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Shingleton, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Shingleton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shingleton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shingleton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shingleton paves the way for another one to be saved.
