Cash & Patches's Story...
Patches and Cash are gorgeous, healthy, playful and snuggly four-year-old, sister and brother cats looking for a loving guardian - preferably together.

Patches is a gorgeous Calico. Her brother is a white patch tabby. These adorable cats have the flat faces of a Persian cat. They have shared a home with a dog and enjoy canine and human company.

Cash is long and slim and loves to play and climb up in high places. Patches is more of a land dweller and is so incredibly loving and extremely affectionate.

They both use their litter box and scratching post like good cats. They like to sleep in bed with their people each night and are wonderful with children. They purr the moment they wake up, groom each other, play together and snuggle together, so they are looking for a loving home - preferably as a pair.

These cats have their claws but use their scratching post and drool with joy over their catnip toys.

To meet and possibly foster/adopt Patches and Cash, please contact Lauren at lauren.rhone@gmail.com or 312-735-7117.

They are currently living in Chicago. They are very healthy, spayed and neutered vaccinated, virus-tested, microchipped and de-wormed. Their adoption fee of $170 as a pair benefits the rescued pets of Lulu’s Locker Room.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cash & Patches, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
