Bella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bella's Story...
Bella is a very gentle, lovable, sweet and wiggly, 18-month-old, female white and black tiny Shih Tzu looking for a loving guardian.

Little Bella came into rescue as a matted mess. We don’t think she had ever been groomed in her life. So, she needed to be shaved all the way down.

She just LOVES attention! She’ll need someone with the time and energy to devote to her and to her training and housebreaking. She is so cute and playful; she loves all her toys and is extremely huggable.

Her adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued dogs of Famous Fido. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be spayed and micro-chipped upon adoption.

To meet and possibly adopt Bella, please fill out the adoption application at http://famousfidorescue.com/rescueforms/machform/view.php?id=26727 and follow up by contacting Gloria at fido@famousfidorescue.com or 773-907-0305. Bella is currently at the Famous Fido Rescue facility at 3124 W. Irving Park Road (at Troy Street) in Chicago.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Chicago Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
