Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sonny is a sweet and loving little guy. He is a 9 pound fawn and white Chihuahua mix who is 3-4 years old. Sonny is a deer headed Chihuahua who looks like a tiny baby deer. He is a beautiful boy.
Sonny came to us with another 5 Chihuahua’s who were all rescued from a hoarding situation. There were many others taken from this house as well. The dogs were well treated, there were just too many of them for the people to handle and properly care for. Sonny had never been on a leash, but he now understands how to walk on a leash, but he would rather be in your arms. He is the perfect size to tuck under your arm wherever you go.
Sonny prefers men over women. He will quickly go to men and is more comfortable with them, but given time he will warm up to a female owner, too. He would prefer a quiet home without small children. Sonny does needs other dogs in his home. He feels more confident around other dogs and they help him approach people. We would like Sonny to have a secure fenced yard to play in with his new canine siblings. Sonny, like most Chihuahua’s loves warm dog beds and blankets to burrow under and likes to sleep in bed with his people. Sonny is a sweet, little alarm clock. When your alarm goes off he will gently bring you into the morning with his little feet dancing on you and if you don’t move he will give you soft licks. It is a nice way to start the day.
Sonny is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and heartworm tested. Sonny is housetrained. He is used to being kenneled when his people are away, but he doesn’t need to be. He will usually find a comfortable place to curl up and wait until you return home.
