Meet Road, a 7-year-young cutie who would love to make a forever home with you! He has lived with one family his entire life, always indoors, but his current family suspects that he would enjoy a taste of the outside if it were in a protected environment (fenced yard or private deck).
Road is very personable with people. He will come right up to a new person as they walk in, and greet them happily.
Road’s favorite activity is playing with string. He also LOVES tortilla chips—no one knows why, but he’s loved them since kittenhood. Like most kitties, he’s a fan of sun puddles, sitting on people’s chests and nestling into a warm lap. Want to win Road over? Offer him a few Bonito Flakes and he’ll be putty in your hands.
While Road is a real lovebug, he’d rather not be picked up and/or carried. He’s sensitive about his paws and doesn’t look forward to manicures the way that we do. That said, he wows people with his friendliness and inquisitive nature.
Crumpled up foil balls are his favorite to chase. He will also go for a laser pointer for a good while. Until either he or you tires. ;)
Quirk alert! Road has a distaste for cell phones and may pounce if you’re on yours. Lol. Keep calls to a minimum when this boy wants your attention.
